RECOMMENDATION
Dr. Tetyana Ivanivna Allston (Zakharchenko) has asked me that I write a letter of recommendation based on our professional association over the past several years.
I have known Dr. Allston for 18 years, first as a colleague, then as Provost and then as her employer, President of Sumy State Educational University where she worked for 20 years. During that period of time, I found Dr. Allston to be honest and straightforward in her approach to her work and research. She always demonstrated a high degree of loyalty and trustworthiness to her principles, work and associates. She not only did the work but also developed her own creativity, independence, and individual freedom.
I had several chances of listening to her playing at concerts and was impressed with her way of interpreting the composition. Her students often won the All-Ukrainian Pianist Competitions Students of Educational Institutes.
As a Head of the Chair of the Musical Department and a Member of Curriculum Board of our University she proved to be interested in innovations, resourceful in new ideas and ways of implementing them.
